BITE BACK
Project:
Brand Identity, Web Design, Illustration
Bite Back is a culture-led apparel brand built at the intersection of dog advocacy and alternative streetwear. I developed the brand from the ground up defining its positioning, identity system, tone of voice, merchandise direction, and e-commerce experience. The opportunity was to differentiate within a saturated pet market dominated by overly sentimental branding and instead create a bold, attitude-driven brand that resonates with a more culture-aware audience.
The visual system was designed to be scalable and production-ready across apparel, digital, and social platforms. I built a modular identity system including primary and secondary marks, embroidery variants, typography hierarchy, and a limited but distinctive color palette. Each product functions as a micro-campaign, reinforcing the brand narrative through illustration, messaging, and tone. The e-commerce experience extends that voice, combining editorial-style presentation with conversion-focused structure to maintain both brand integrity and usability.
This project demonstrates a brands ability to build an ecosystem rather than isolated visuals while aligning strategy, storytelling, and execution across physical and digital touch points. From positioning and art direction to product development and UX decisions, Bite Back had a strong design foundation for long-term scalability, seasonal drops, and brand expansion.
